Cruise at your own pace and moor up at the side of the canal wherever you choose. If you want to make some distance, eat and drink on the go. Travelling at 4mph, you can take in the scenery and eat at the same time!

Based on our own experience of cruising the canals for months at a time, the following list forms the core items you will find on board your boat.

Blue Otter narrow boats have fully-equipped kitchens with a gas oven, fridge and Belfast sink. All kitchen equipment is supplied.

Canal boating holidays are ideal for self-isolating and self-catering staycations with a fully-equipped kitchen. After your initial grocery shop, you will be stocked up for your entire cruise. The only question each day, is who is cooking and who is piloting the boat?
