Bespoke Narrowboat Hire

Blue Otter Skipton is a 50ft narrowboat for couples. We provide full boat handling training and accompany you through the first locks.

Entering the boat from the stern you are in the living room area of the boat. There is seating for 3 people, with a square table and two matching foldable chairs for an alfresco dining option.

In the Kitchen you will find a fridge-freezer, gas cooker and stove, Belfast sink, granit worktops and cupboards.

The bathroom is fitted with a flushable toilet, sink and overhead shower. The toilet is emptied by a pump-out in the local marina between each hire.

The bedroom is at the bow-end of the boat, fitted with a wardrobe and double bed. Bedding is supplied with a king-size quilt and four pillows. Bath and hand towels are also supplied.

The bow area of the boat is kept clear to allow easy access when needing to jump on and off to navigate bridges and locks. The foldable chairs can be used here when stationary to relax with a book and a brew.

The foldable table and chairs from the living / dining area can be used on the stern or tow path for alfresco dining.

We provide a canal map with indications of bridges, locks, pubs and restaurants.

General ettiquette on the canals is to cruise from 8am to 8pm when engine noise is tolerated without disturbing other boaters.

Blue Otter Wootton Wawen in Warwickshire is a 60 ft boat ideal for families or two couples.

Entering from the stern end of the boat you are in the living area with a sofa bed.

The sofa easily turns into a bed, with storage for bedding beneath the seating.

The dining area can be extended with the foldable top and additional foldable seating for four people.

This kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker and stove, Belfast Sink and all kitchen utensils, cuttlery and dishware are provided.

The main bedroom is at the bow-end of the boat. It has a fitted double bed with two single duvets, side reading lights and a wardrobe. To exit via the bow doors guests need to step over the bed.

The double bed spans the full width of the boat. We provide bed linen and towels for all boat hires.

The bathroom is located between the bedroom and the kitchen. It is equipped with a flushable toilet, overhead shower and a sink.

Guests can choose where to moor, with the leisure cruising season running from March to October.
